How to place orders

 

On the Chip One Stop website, you can search our stock of more than 500,000 items, which can be shipped on the same day or within three business days, and our extensive product database of approximately 7 million items for the product you want. Product in our inventory can be ordered directly from search results without requesting a quotation. If you need a quotation to place an order, please download itt from the search results or shopping cart screen.


If you find the product you want in the search, click Buy button. If you want to order multiple products at the same time on the search result list screen, select the checkboxes for the appropriate products and click the Buy button displayed at the top and bottom of the screen to add all of them to the shopping cart.

If you place an order on the product detail screen, click the Buy button.
* Quantity needs not be entered on the search result screen. It can be entered and changed on the shopping cart screen.
* Simplified quotations can be downloaded from the search result or shopping cart screen. Please refer here for details.


There are six steps in total from STEP 1 to 6. Details of each step are as follows:

◦STEP 1: The list for the product you are going to order is displayed. Specify quantity, click the Update button, confirm the total amount of purchase, and click the Next to proceed to STEP 2.
- Only clicking the Next button updates the information, without pressing the Update button.
- Look for other products: Click this if you want to add other products. You go back to the Home page.
- Add from quoted products: Move to quotation history. Select the products in the Quoted state and add them to the shopping cart.
- Add from bookmark: Select from products registered with User Bookmark and add to the shopping cart. Refer to here for details on the user bookmark function.
- Add from the browsing history: Select from among the products recorded in browsing history and add to the shopping cart. Refer to here for details on browsing history.
Request for quotation: The quotation is displayed based on the quantity specified in the shopping cart - STEP 1 screen. Print it out using the print function of the browser. Please use this function for a quotation at the time of order placement.

◦ STEP 2: Specify the delivery destination. The member’s registered address is displayed by default. If you have preliminary registered delivery destination, select it from the pull-down menu. Enter delivery destination manually. If you want to register the address you entered as a delivery destination, click the Register as the delivery destination button. You do not need to enter it again from the next time.

If there are more than two lists, specify several delivery destinations equivalent to the number of lists. Click the Add the delivery destination from here if you want to deliver to several delivery destinations link shown at the bottom of the screen to add one more delivery destination entry field to specify the delivery destination required. (A new entry field is added every time you click this link.)

◦ STEP 2 (If you specify multiple delivery destinations): Since multiple lists and delivery destinations are specified, designate which product is to be delivered to each delivery destination on this screen.

◦ STEP 3: Specify the delivery date from the earliest ship date to the next five business days as the expected shipping date.
- If you choose Request shipping ASAP, we will make a shipment as soon as we complete shipping preparation regardless of the expected ship date.
- If there are multiple lines for one delivery destination, select the consolidated shipping.
* Please note that all products will be shipped on the longest shipping date if you select consolidated delivery.

◦ STEP 4: Enter payment method and specify the customer order number or remarks. Please answer question on application.

◦ STEP 5: Confirm the order information. If the details of the order are correct, click the Complete order button to enter the order. An error may occur if order has expired before you complete the order process.

Order changes

 

Basically, we do not accept changes order conditions after it is entered. However, we can accept changes under the following conditions:
- The product has not yet shipped.
- Net 30 was selected as payment method.

Items that can be changed are shipping address, delivery date, and setting of partial or consolidated shipping.
◦ Change of shipping address: Enter preliminary registered or new shipping address as you did at the time of order placement. The delivery destination you entered can be registered.
◦ Change of delivery date: Re-designate the delivery date for respective product lists.
* Due to the delivery date change, the products that were originally designated for delivery on a consolidated basis may be delivered on a split basis.
◦ Change of partial or consolidated delivery setting: If you ordered from multiple lines at the same time and designated consolidated delivery, change to the split shipping (partial shipping). Click the Multiple destinations link shown at the bottom of the screen to add one more shipping address entry field to specify shipping address. (A new entry field is added every time you click this link.) In addition, even if you have placed order separately, you can arrange delivery on a consolidated basis at a later time. Selecting more than two lines that have not yet been shipped and clicking the consolidated shipping button shown at the bottom of the lists on the order history screen moves to the delivery date specification screen for the consolidated delivery. Please specify the ship date.

* “Partial shipping” is a delivery method where multiple products that were ordered at one time are delivered as they are ready in accordance with the expected ship date of each product. If you select partial shipment, customer must pay  fee for each shipment because the products are delivered separately based on the expected ship date of each list for individual orders.
* “Consolidated shipping” is where multiple products that were ordered at one time are delivered in bulk in one shipment. If you select consolidated delivery, we will ship in accordance with the latest product ship date.

Download quotation and invoice

 

On this website, you can display quotations, bills, and purchase orders at the time of order placement or from your history. Even if you do not request quote, quotation can be downloaded. Please use this function for getting your corporate approval.

1. Download quotation
Quotations can be issued at the time of order placement or from the order history and can be downloaded using the print function of the browser after displaying it.

Quotations can be issued at the time of order without request or can be downloaded from the order history. When you add the product to the shopping cart and press the Shopping cart button to move to the shopping cart – STEP 1, the Request for quotation button is displayed at the lower left of the screen. Print out the quotation using the print function of the browser.

To enter this function, click the My History button shown at the upper right of the page after logging in. You will find the Download quotation button in details screen of the relevant order history. Please download it using the print function of the browser. 

2. Download Invoice (In the case of order by TT in advance)
For all orders, we supply invoice with the goods at the time of shipment. If you use TT in advance (bank transfer) and need invoice before shipment, you can download it on the order completion screen or from order history.

If you chose to pay in advance (bank transfer) as the payment method, the Download invoice button is displayed on the order completion screen. Print the bill using the print function of the browser.

To enter this function, click the My History button shown in the upper right of the page after logging in. You will find the Download invoice button in the detail screen of the relevant order history.

3. Receipt data web display service
After completion of payment, browse the receipt data on this website. Please use this function for internal processing.


If you chose to pay by credit card, the Receipt data button is displayed at the time of order completion. Click this button to browse the receipt data.
