What kinds of search methods are available?

 

Chip One Stop offers four main types of search methods as follows: (1) Search by keywords, (2) search by product category, (3) search by manufacturer, and (4) Multiple search 

(1) Search by keywords: Search for a product by entering a manufacturer's part number, keyword, and Chip One Stop part number in the search box. About 7 million items in the database can be searched. If you enter another keyword with a space between the keywords (example: ""Analog""+space+""Dip""), the search result that meets both keywords (""And Search"") is displayed. 
(2) Search by product category: Search for and narrow down by category. Please proceed from the Home page or the Category tab to select the product category. Clicking the product category displays the subordinate categories. You can select or narrow down by clicking desired category. 
(3) Search by manufacturer: Search for a product by manufacturer. Please proceed from the Home page or the Supplier tab to select the manufacturer. We also offer manufacturer official stores with excellent search functions, extensive product lineups, and various contents. 
(4) Multiple search: Search for multiple products at one time. Click "Other searches" shown in the lower right of the search box to expand the box downward and display the search box for multiple part numbers. Please input multiple keywords or part numbers and click "Search".

Please explain to me the flow from search to order placement and delivery.

 

Search -> Selection of product -> Shopping cart -> Completion of order -> Confirmation of e-mail -> (Payment -> Confirmation of payment by us ->) Shipment -> Confirmation of shipment notification mail -> Delivery. 

Please confirm the product in the search results and click the Buy button to place an order. Specify the quantity in the search results or the shopping cart. Please follow the instructions displayed on the cart page and specify payment method and delivery destination to complete order. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after order placement. If you select TT in advance (bank transfer) as the payment method, we will inform you of bank account information for deposit. The product is shipped after we confirm payment. We will ship the product as soon as it is ready to be shipped or on your requested ship date. Can I execute a search by part number if I do not identify exact part number?

 

You can search even if you only know a part of the manufacturer part number. Please enter only the part of the manufacturer part number you know and search for it. On the search results page, consecutively narrow down the results by the desired specification.

What keyword should I enter in the search box?

 

In the search box, not only manufacturer part number but also specification of products and other criteria is an object of the search. For example, if you do not know the manufacturer part number but know the classification, rated voltage, manufacture name, dimensions, thermal property, or other features, you can search by these character strings. If you search with spaces between the character strings, the search result that meets all conditions is displayed. Even if you do not enter all conditions, you can narrow down the search results further by specifications to find a specific product.

What do I need to do if I cannot find the product as a result of search?

 

When you cannot find the product you want, you may be able to find it by checking the input strings. If the character strings are too long, put a space between the words, shorten the character strings, delete the end of the part number, and search again or try different character strings. If there are no hits as a result of a search, request a quotation directly using the input strings (manufacturer part number). After checking the input strings, please specify the manufacturer (if unknown, please select other manufacturer) and request a quotation on the quotating cart page. We will provide the quotation to you.

Do I need to search even if I know the product I want?

 

Searching enables you to know the inventory status of a product and to to place order or request quote. In addition, Searching helps Chip One Stop system to identify requested part. It enables us to quote you faster than the part number without this identification process. Chip One Stop offers a variety of different types of search functions. 
You can search again the products you have searched recently from "browsing history". If you use the user bookmarks function, you can proceed directly to order placement or quotation using the registered manufacturer part number without searching for it again.

It takes a very long time to execute a search.

 

It may take time to display the search results if you execute a search with a partial part number, many keywords, or there are no hits as a result of a search by product category. If there are 1,000 hits or more, the screen for narrowing down the results by category or manufacturer is displayed first without displaying all search results. You can save time by conducting a search with limited conditions. At the same time, please check to make sure there is no problem with the Internet connection speed.

What should I do if I want the same product that I searched for in the past?

 

Although you can search for the product with keywords in the search box or through "Search by manufacturer" or "Search by product category", you can also search again if it is saved in the browsing history. For details on browsing history,please refer here.

What is "MOQ/SPQ" displayed in the search results?

 

MOQ is the minimum quantity that you can order. Depending on the product, you need to purchase at least two or more units. In such cases, please enter the requested quantity that is same as or more than the MOQ on the shopping cart screen. SPQ is the number of product units that you can order. Depending on the product, you need to purchase at least two or more units. In such cases, please enter the quantity in multiples of SPQ on the shopping cart screen. * Example: MOQ/SPQ = 2/2 You can order two units at minimum in increments of two units such as "2, 4, 6, 8 units........".   MOQ/SPQ = 100/10 You can order 100 units at minimum in increments of 10 units.

What's the comparison function?

 

In the search results, select multiple products and compare them. 1. On the search results screen, select two or more products that you can compare and select the checkboxes. 2. Press the Compare the products button displays the selected products arranged side by side. Once you determine the product you want, please proceed to the cart. *Please select compared products in the same category.

Will the component be shipped on the expected shipping date as displayed in the search results?

 

Products that are in Chip One Stop's stock of more than 500,000 items for instant delivery can be shipped within the same day. Please confirm the expected ship date displayed for respective product before placing orders. 

 

If you select the TT in advance (bank transfer) option as the payment method, please note that shipment is made after confirmation of payment. If you are in a hurry, please select the payment method that enables the product to be shipped on the scheduled ship date without fail (Credit card, Credit account (Net30) * Application required in advance).

 

Please be forewarned that the expected ship date for the quoted product may vary depending on the status of delivery from the supplier and the progress of shipping.

Can I receive a quotation on the scheduled quotation provision date displayed on the search results page?

 

We normally reply within one or two business days. Please understand that our reply may be delayed depending on your quotation request (price, quantity, and ship date). The expected reply date is based on the Chip One Stop's business days. Regarding business days, please check the calendar displayed on the left of the top page.
