The first cellular IoT prototyping platform with both GNSS and Wi-Fi locationing
Nordic Semiconductor
Nordic Thingy:91 X is a battery-operated, multi-sensor prototyping platform for cellular IoT based on the nRF9151 System-in-Package (SiP), supporting LTE-M, NB-IoT, GNSS and NR+, certified for global operation.
The Nordic Thingy:91 X prototyping platform boasts an exhaustive set of onboard features that make cellular IoT prototyping and development easier than ever. It contains sensors that gather data about the Nordic Thingy:91 X’s environment and movement and the nRF7002 Wi-Fi companion IC that enables SSID-based Wi-Fi locationing, making it the ideal platform for all kinds of asset-tracking applications. It also includes a 1350 mAh rechargeable Li-Po battery, making it usable beyond the development desk and into field testing, with the onboard nPM1300 PMIC providing battery charging and accurate fuel gauging capability. The bundled SIM Cards from Onomondo and Wireless Logic, preloaded with data, allow users to get connected to nRF Cloud out-of-the-box and start their first interaction with the device.
