Introducing the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 Modem-RF system, a leap for 5G modem and RF Front-end technology.
As the world’s first modem-RF-system to reach up to 10 gigabit 5G and the world’s first 3GPP Release 16 modem-to-antenna solution, Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 can enable the next evolution in wireless and expand 5G to more application segments, including mobile broadband, fixed wireless access, industrial IoT, and 5G private networks.
Beyond speed and expanding 5G in more segments, 10 Gigabit 5G can enable massive capacity, which means everyone on a network can benefit. It also offers unmatched flexibility for operators and devices to increase attainable 5G network speeds and improve capacity with available spectrum. This is possible thanks to advanced capabilities such as mmWave-sub-6 GHz aggregation and unprecedented bandwidth aggregation for downlink and uplink. For example, Snapdragon X65-based devices will be able to support 10 Gigabit 5G peak speeds on both 5G non-standalone and standalone networks.
Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 is part of our 4th generation family of 5G modem-to-antenna solutions, along with the new Snapdragon X62. As 5G sees massive global adoption, we at Qualcomm Technologies are taking this opportunity to double down on accelerating 5G expansion with this one-two punch. The Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System is a widely-accessible sibling of the Snapdragon X65, built with the purpose of making 5G technology even more widely available.
Compatible with both systems, we’re also unveiling the Qualcomm 545 mmWave Antenna Module (QTM545), our 4th generation mobile mmWave solution. This new antenna module supports higher transmit power compared to the previous generation for extended mmWave coverage.
