This demo showcases how our new MCX L family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers enables efficient, battery-powered flow metering applications. The MCX L communicates wirelessly with a flow meter using our UBX100 transceiver, which creates a robust sub-GHz link ideal for long-range, low-power connectivity.

The UBX100 supports protocols like Wireless M-Bus and brings sub-GHz communication, like the demonstrated bidirectional metering, across our broader MCX portfolio. This solution is a strong fit for smart metering applications, enabling reliable communication between flow meters and concentrators or gateways—improving efficiency and reducing system complexity.
