2025/07/10	PCN (Product Change Notice)	Description 1. Second wafer fab sourcing at UMC is done to ensure robust supply throughout the devices’ lifecycle. 2. In addition to the current TSMC-based production flow, NXP has qualified UMC as a dual-source foundry supplier. - This implies device production will be sourced using both TSMC and UMC?based flows. 3. UMC-based devices can be used in all existing TSMC- based designs without hardware modifications. 4. The addition of UMC as a dual-source foundry results in the following: - No change to functional, pinout, package, or mechanical specifications vs. current TSMC-based devices. - Radio performance for UMC-sourced devices is similar to current TSMC-based devices. - To match TSMC performance, a Software update shall be required before UMC-based devices begin to ship in production upon expiration of Final Product Change Notification (FPCN). 5. The existing Orderable Part Number and 12NCs will be maintained.
