Minima Processor uses Cadence Tensilica HiFi Mini for 40 nm low-power process

For battery-operated devices, low energy consumption is the key to the wireless IoT market. The Hifi Mini is capable of operation from 0.5V to 0.8V and dynamically minimizes its power per performance requirements set by the OS. In this video Lauri Koskinen from Minima Processor explains how they have achieved a 15x energy savings.
