PIC18Q71 Family of MCUs Overview
Microchip Technology
The PIC18-Q71 family of microcontrollers (MCUs) provides exceptional performance and versatility for creating mixed-signal sensor applications for LED lighting, home automation, industrial process control, medical devices and many other markets. This device family integrates robust Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) and high analog integration, streamlining sensor interfacing and analog measurements, optimizing system performance, all while minimizing BOM cost. These MCUs include a 12-bit differential Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with Computation and Context Switching, configurable operational amplifiers (op amps), high-speed analog comparators, and an 8-bit signal routing port for interconnecting digital peripherals. Their rich set of CIPs, in combination with the Analog Peripheral Manager (APM), enable simple analog configurations and reduce overall power consumption.
