  • Angle Sensor

    Infineon offers a wide range of products from low-end to high-end, from standard products to special products, based on four magnetic sensor technologies; Hall, GMR, AMR and TMR.
    Infineon’s angle sensors use integrated magnetoresistance (ixMR) technology.

    Dual sensor solution with two redundant sensors.
    Using innovative stack mounting technology, the products of the angle sensor family integrate two sensors in a standard TDSO package, which is only 1mm thick and saves space. Package width and length are the same as conventional single sensor packages. The advantages compared to the general approach of sensors being arranged in parallels, are that the magnetic field on the sensor element is more uniform and that the footprint can be significantly smaller. This allows for low cost ferrite magnets to provide sufficient magnetic fields for the sensor, reducing valuable space and cost in applications where high functional safety is required.

  • Magnetic Current Sensor

    The TLI4970 is a precision current sensor for industrial applications using Hall effect technology. Adopting a coreless concept, this product has significantly reduced the mounting area compared to existing solutions.
    Infineon’s current sensors are more accurate than existing open-loop methods and comparable to closed-loop systems.

    The differential measurement method used with this TLI4970 sensor suppresses interference from external magnetic fields.
    This allows the sensor to achieve an extremely low offset of only 25mA.
    In conventional current measurement methods, measurement accuracy always depends on environmental conditions (e.g. temperature).

    Infineon’s current sensors are more accurate than existing open-loop methods and comparable to closed loop systems. It offers more features such as high-speed overcurrent detection, programmable filters, and an extremely small footprint and low power consumption.
    This sensor is extremely resistant to the effects of external magnetic fields due to stray magnetic field suppression and is also suitable for high-speed overcurrent detection in the unset state. This feature allows you to individually isolate the control units from the measurement path to protect the power load from damage.

  • 3D Magnetic Sensor

    Infineon’s current sensors are more accurate than existing open-loop methods and comparable to closed loop systems. It offers more features such as high-speed overcurrent detection, programmable filters, and an extremely small footprint and low power consumption.

    Details

    The TLE/TLI/TLV493D sensor combines low power consumption and 3-axis measurement in a small package. Non-contact position sensing can be used in applications that use traditional mechanical or optical position sensing solutions.

    The system size can be reduced, and magnetic threshold stability over temperature range provides a more accurate and robust solution for these applications.
    Infineon’s sensors use a standard 2-wire digital I2C communication interface to enable bi-directional communication between the sensor and the microcontroller.
    3D magnetic sensors are ideal for control devices, joysticks, and E-meters (anti-tampering function). It is also suitable for low power 3D automotive applications such as directional indicators and transmissions.

  • MEMS Microphone

    Infineon’s XENSIV™ MEMS Microphones offer a new performance class for digital MEMS microphones that overcome the limitations of existing voice chains. The IM69D130 is designed for applications that require high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), wide dynamic range, low distortion levels, and high acoustic overload points.

    Infineon’s dual backplate MEMS technology is based on a miniaturized symmetrical microphone design, similar as utilized in studio condenser microphones, and results in high linearity of the output signal within a dynamic range of 105dB.
    The noise floor of the microphone is 25 dB[A] (69 dB[A] SNR), and it has a low distortion of less than 1% even at a sound pressure level of 128 dB SPL (AOP 130dB SPL). The flat frequency response (28Hz low frequency roll off) and tight manufacturing tolerances provide excellent phase matching that is important for multi-microphone (array) applications.

  • Magnetic Position Sensor

    Infineon’s magnetic position sensors capable of wide range measuring are ideal for various industrial and household applications, such as renewable energy, major appliances, home automation, multicopters, power tools, as well as automotive applications.

    Infineon offers a wide range of position sensors, including Hall switches and angle sensors, to achieve reliable and energy-efficient motor commutation in brushless DC motor drives.   • Pressure Sensor

    Infineon’s DPS310 is a compact digital barometric pressure sensor that can measure both pressure and temperature with high accuracy and low current consumption.
    Its small package and low energy consumption make the DPS310 ideal for mobile applications and wearables.

    Infineon’s mobile app is for Android smartphones and can be downloaded from the Android store. Using the mobile app instead of SES2G software, you can use Bluetooth to quickly evaluate sensor performance. The mobile app supports both Sensor Hub and nanoHUB.

  • Magnetic Speed Sensor

    This sensor uses a ferromagnetic toothed wheel or a magnetic encoder structure to measure linear velocity, linear position, rotation speed and rotational position. Hall sensors measure the rotational speed with the toothed wheel and the magnetic encoder wheel.
