The new 100Gb/s per lane 850nm VCSEL enables lowest-cost, short-reach active optical cables (AOCs) and pluggable Multimode transceivers to extend the life of fiber cabling infrastructure in the hyperscale data center, high-performance computing and enterprise networks to beyond 25G and 50Gb/s data rates.
