Same Sky's Interconnect Group today announced the expansion of its USB connectors product line with the addition of new USB Type C plug connectors. The UP20, UP31, and UP32 series conform to the USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, or USB 3.2 Gen 2 standards, while supporting data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps and power delivery up to 150 W at 30 V and 5 A. House in horizontal or vertical packages, these USB Type C plugs offer a variety of mounting styles, including through hole, surface mount, board edge, and cable mount.

All USB Type C plug models are reflow solder compatible and feature high reliability up to 10,000 mating cycles. Operating temperatures range from -30 up to 125°C, depending on the model.

The UP20, UP31, and UP32 models are available immediately with prices starting at $0.73 per unit at 100 pieces through distribution. Please contact Same Sky for OEM pricing.
